Lamb, pita, and tzatziki sauce. Need I say more? This pita sandwich is amazing and very filling.

Lamb Pita
I am constantly trying to do different things in the kitchen. I did this because I had some ground lamb that needed to be used.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Lamb
- 1 Clove Garlic Minced
- 1/2 ts Molasses
- 1/2 cup chopped White Onion Halved
- 1 ts each Thyme and Rosemary
- A dash of Worcestershire Sauce
- Dash of Gun Powder Seasoning found at our local market.
- Salt and pepper.
- Pitas I like to only do 1/2 pita per person
- 1 Cucumber chopped
- 2 Tomatoes chopped
- Tzatziki Sauce
Instructions

In a mixing bowl add raw lamb, garlic, 1/4 cup of white onion, GP seasoning, thyme, rosemary, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. Incorporate with your hands.

Put meat mixture in a skillet over medium heat. Add Molasses. Cook until done. Drain and return to pan.

Open each half of pita and put a scoop of meat mix in the pocket. (leave enough space for cucumbers and tomatoes

dd a little chopped onion if you desire. (this is the reason for reserving 1/4 cup)

add a dollop of Tzatziki Sauce sauce and then top the pita with the cucumbers and tomatoes.
