Easy No-Bake Cherry Cheesecake

Easy no-bake cherry cheesecake has become a go-to dessert for us. I honestly like the fact that it takes no skills to make and is a jaw-dropper at parties and get-togethers.

There was a point in time when I was extremely intimidated by the thought of making a cheesecake. It just was so yummy that it must be really difficult to make. I’m so glad I was wrong. I will say that I have fully mastered this dessert and I am proud of that!

I will say one thing about it though, I love the canned topping. I know, fresh is better but fresh does not taste like my childhood. I wanted to be able to reflect the taste of all the family get-togethers that I attended in my youth. A flavor time machine if you will. This is a success! Easy No-Bake Cherry Cheesecake
One dessert that we love to make in this house is cheesecake. A big plus to that is not having to bake one.
Ingredients
CRUST INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/3 cup Melted Butter
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit.
  • Mix the granulated sugar and the graham cracker crumbs in a mixing bowl.
  • Add melted butter and mix. It will look crumbly.
  • Grease your pie dish and then press the crumb mixture into the dish. Try to make the crust even.
  • Bake for 6-8 minutes. You want it set and golden but not burned.
Set the crust to the side to cool. *Sometimes if I am in a hurry I will put the crust in the freezer until it feels cool to the touch.
FILLING INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 8oz Packages of cream cheese *Softened
  • 1 cup of Granulated Sugar
  • 3 cups of Whipped Topping
  • 1 ts Vanilla extract
*Sometimes I don't use all of the filling. this will depend on your pie dish*
Instructions
  1. With a mixer blend sugar and cream cheese together.

  2. Fold in the whipped cream mixture.

  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. Mix until everything is incorporated together smoothly.

  5. Pour over cooled pie crust. Refrigerate for 3 hours.

TOPPING
  1. 1 can Cherry Topping/Pie Filling

  2. Pour on top of cheesecake before serving. You could also pour on top and then put the cheesecake in the fridge for additional time if you like the topping cold.
