These Bunny Treats are just alternatives to the classic Rice Krispie treat. Let me tell you, these wonderfully colorful treats are not disappointing.

These Easter sweets take the traditional Krispie recipe “up a notch” in a way that is creative and unique. This is a recipe you can even make with the kids!

Want a fun and easy Easter treat recipe? Well, this is definitely one to keep on hand! Think rice krispie treats but with a fun colorful twist!

Course: Dessert
Servings: 12 squares (roughly)
Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 5 1/2 cups Mini Marshmallows
  • 7-8 cups Fruity Pebbles Cereal
  • 2 cups of Dehydrated Marshmallows
Instructions
  1. Melt the butter in the microwave in a large bowl. (must be a microwave safe bowl. This takes about 35-45 seconds.)

  2. Pour the marshmallows into the bowl of butter and stir to coat.

  3. Microwave the marshmallows until melted completely. (stir every 20 seconds)

  4. Stir cereal into melted marshmallows.

  5. Stir in dehydrated marshmallows. *I love this step and it is so worth it!

  6. I usually spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

  7. Stir thoroughly.

  8. Press mixture into baking dish and let sit until completely cooled. *Use your best judgment.

  9. After it has set completely I turn the baking dish upside down onto cutting board.

  10. Cut into squares and enjoy!
