Easy Waffles

 

Waffles are the epitome of breakfast! So versatile you can even have them for lunch!

Waffles can be sweet or it can be savory! Even both at times. If you have been looking for an easy go-to recipe for this morning delight then here it is:

Easy Waffles
We love to eat brunch on the weekends. Chicken and waffles have become a staple in our house. I love to make these super easy, fluffy, and golden homemade waffles.
Ingredients
  • 2 Cups Bisquick
  • 1 1/4 Cups Milk
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1/2 ts Cinnamon Sugar
  • 1/2 ts Vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Whisk together Bisquick, milk, egg, cinnamon sugar, and vanilla extract.

  2. Heat up your waffle iron. I love my simple round one!

  3. Spray the iron with cooking spray before you pour the batter in each time.

  4. Pour the batter into the hot waffle maker and cook until golden and done. My waffle maker has a light that will turn on when the waffle is done. I don't always rely on the light though! The best way to know when a waffle is done is if it looks done.

Try these awesome waffles with the classic Chicken and Waffles... Pour on some maple syrup over everything and add a bit of hot sauce!!!! Or just eat them as waffles.

I use this waffle recipe when we make chicken and waffles. I love chicken and waffles it is a shame that I didn’t really experience this dish until I was an adult. Now, we make it at least once a month!
