Caramel Pie

Caramel pie is amazing. There is nothing more to be said!

My mom’s long time boyfriend would make this for us and I had him teach me what he did because it was awesome! Of course, it was much easier to make than I had originally thought.

This is heaven in a pie! Give it a try and you will not disappoint or be disappointed.

We all love a good caramel Pie! It takes a lot of time but very little effort to make this amazing dessert!

Graham Crust
  • 1 1/4 cup of Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Melted Butter
  • 1 ts Cinnamon
  • 2-3 Cans of Sweetened Condensed Milk
  1. Mix the crust ingredients together and mash into a pie dish or tin.

  2. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 7-8 minutes.

  3. Let cool on counter.
  4. Boil the unopened cans of sweetened condensed milk in a large soup pan for about 4 hours.
  5. Keep a check on them and make sure to keep them covered.
  6. Take out of soup pan and allow to cool for about 30 minutes.

  7. Open cans and pour into pie crust.

  8. Let cool for about an hour and refrigerate for about 3 before serving.

Recipe Notes

We like it with homemade whipped cream!

This pie will have people fooled. Yes, you may spend all day making it but it really takes very little effort. Most of your time will be spent watching over boiling water! Be sure to make a homemade Whipped Topping to dollop over it before serving.
